Spondon Dynamos was founded in 1974 and remained unchanged until the year 2000 when the club split into two, the seniors and the juniors. The junior teams range from the Under 5’s to the Under 18’s. All teams play in the Derby Community or the Derby City Leagues. We try and have two or three teams at each age groups.
Change over from small sided football to 11-a-side football. It was decided to have Spondon Dynamos Black Sox, Yellow Sox, Youth & White Sox Juniors.
In 2016 the club linked up with Graham St Prims. It was agreed that Spondon Dynamos would run all of the junior football teams and Prims the senior teams. This would give a development route for the junior players.
